Individual therapy

Psychological treatment, be it psychotherapy or psychiatry, is an attempt to change an aspect of an individual's personality in order to improve the patient's wellbeing. The therapy itself is the trajectory made by and with the patient in that attempt at change that requires time and is gradual in its process.

This process follows change that can take different paths: behavioural, cognitive, emotional, and/or relational).

Individual therapy is recommended for those with apparent symptoms and are going through an especially difficult moment in life (the passing of a loved one, employment dismissal, separation, relationship issues, illness, etc.). It also applies to those who wish to deepen their understanding of themselves, learn, discover and improve personal resources to make the most of their own potential.

Sessions take place in an intimate and safe space.

These psychotherapy sessions offer an intimate and safe space, where patients can determine and better understand what they are going through to then take responsibility of and strengthen their own resources in the face of confronting their problems.

You are the agent of change in this therapeutic process. Improvement happens through a working procedure, practised through an honest and confidential therapist-patient relationship.
